Sea

Marina di Camerota is a renowned seaside resort and on several occasions also awarded with the “Blue Flag” award. The coastal strip of the municipality of Camerota extends from the “Grotta del Ciclope” to the Lentiscelle beach. Of particular tourist interest are the paleontological caves.

• Medieval Castle of Camerota located in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III. Today there are only the surrounding walls with the moat, the towers and the remains of the chapel inside. The main male would belong to the Norman period (late 11th century – early 12th century).
• Porta di Suso located in Camerota, under the square in front of the medieval castle;
• Kamaraton Theater in Camerota, located under the castle

Archeological sites

• Archaeological area of Marina di Camerota, with its prehistoric caves
• Rock chapels of San Biagio and in the district of San Vito a Camerota, presumably dating back to 700 AD.
